Understand the vision and needs of a project. Analyse the solutions that could be applied both at the software and domain level taking budget into account. Write clear specifications that are ready for production. Help during design and planning by analysing risks and options. Put in place strategies to minimise risk and keep options open as long as possible.

Manage a team of developers and testers using an agile methotodoly. Liase with product owners to write specifications and convert them to backlog items. Coordinate resources and efforts. Ensure everyone has the tools and adequate training to succeed. Mentor team members if necessary. Create progress report and address concerns in timely manner.
